Paralegal Residential Conveyancing

Role: Conveyancing Paralegal
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Market levels with performance bonuses
Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours, fully office based

About Us:

my client is a reputable law firm specialising in residential and commercial property transactions. they pride themselves on delivering exceptional client service and fostering a collaborative work environment. As their conveyancing department continues to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. The individual will require to take on their own case load working through files from end to end in each transaction.

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing a caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion.
* Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
* Conduct property searches, including Land Registry and local authority searches, and summarise findings.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Handle pre-exchange and post-completion tasks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files using case management software.
* Provide administrative support to senior fee earners as required.
