Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

We are working with a Boutique IFA based in Cheltenham who are looking to bring on an experienced Paraplanner. The firm specialises in working with HNW clients from a range of backgrounds.

Due to the nature of the clients you will be involved in a wide range of cases including complex tax and trust planning. You will also regularly be involved in client meetings.

Key duties of the Paraplanner

• Preparing documentation for client review meetings
• Attending and minuting client and prospect meetings
• Production of Suitability Reports for existing clients covering for example, pension draw and contributions, pension transfers, fund switches, bond assignments and surrenders. There is also occasionally a need to recommend protection products.
• Producing full planning reports for new clients. Investment strategy and risk approach is arrived at through the use of our proprietary investment modelling which shows outcomes as real (after inflation) annual spending amounts within a range. Altering the risk approach, changes the range of outcomes.
• Liaising with our Investment Team to communicate changes to client plans which impact on the investment strategy.
