Paraplanner

Join an established financial services firm as Paraplanner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, with a preference for those holding a Level 4 Diploma and working towards a Level 6 Advanced Diploma and Chartered Status.

• Analyse fact-finding data to determine if there is sufficient information for a suitability report.
• Conduct thorough research to fill any gaps before compiling the suitability report.
• Utilise paraplanner online software to customise template reports to specific client needs.
• Work closely with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) to determine the best recommendations for clients based on their objectives and circumstances.
• Liaise with the compliance team for pre-sale checks and maintain logs and use of risk warnings.
• Collaborate with the admin team to obtain all necessary policy information and manage client data on back-office systems like Intelliflo.
• Engage in project work, including in-depth research and analysis of platform reviews, tax-planning products, and providers.
• Handle clients' technical queries and provide generic guidance in the absence of IFAs.
• Attend CPD events relevant to the role and maintain a log of all CPD activities.

• Preferred Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, working towards Level 6 Advanced Diploma and Chartered Status.
• Excellent report writing skills and good technical knowledge of advice and product options.
• Proficient in analysing statistics and conducting research for appropriate providers and investments.
• Strong understanding of compliance issues and excellent time management skills.
• Proficient in IT and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Analytics and back-office systems such as Intelliflo.
• Ability to maintain low-risk KPIs for internal certification.
