The Company: A leading UK-based wealth management company specialising in providing personalised financial planning, investment management, and retirement solutions who are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner into their Exeter site on a hybrid working basis. • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - 2/3-days office | 2/3-days WFH

Package: £37-40k base + bonus & full company benefits

The Role: Coming into an existing team of 10, this is a private wealth focused paraplanning role supporting financial advisers across a Yorkshire geographic. Duties & responsibilities include:

• The provision of in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers to enable them to present recommendations to clients

• Liaison with Advisers to determine the most appropriate recommendations for clients financial planning
• From the information provided by the Adviser determine the most appropriate solution and recommendations to meet the clients' needs
• Determine the most appropriate way of presenting the report and ensure that it contains all the necessary information and background
• Ensuring that all work is completed within the required timescales and to the standards required
• Ensure that customers are being treated fairly and highlight any situations where you believe this is not the case.
• Providing Paraplanning services to Financial Advisers within FCA Regulations

The Person: You will hold an IFA/wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a technical paraplanning capacity across the breadth of private wealth advice; inclusive of investments, pensions and IHT/tax planning work:

• Required: 3+ years’ experience working in a technical paraplanning role
• Required: Defaqto & FE Analytics system knowledge and experience
• Required: Investments, pensions and tax/trust caseload experience
