NJR Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly respected Independent Financial Advisory firm who are going through a period of growth as a result of an internal promotion and are now seeking for an experienced Paraplanner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking wealth management business that values technical excellence, collaboration, and career development.

You will need to have industry experience and ideally be Diploma qualified OR working towards, our Client offer a flexible approach to the workplace and offer remote working once you have settled in to the role and Company.

The Opportunity

You will work directly alongside Financial Advisers, supporting client-facing activity through detailed product research, technical analysis, and the preparation of high-quality suitability reports. You'll be instrumental in providing robust financial planning solutions that meet client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

" Conduct detailed provider and product research to support adviser recommendations

" Draft bespoke suitability reports across a broad range of financial products and services

" Apply specialist knowledge to areas such as pension transfers, retirement planning, and IHT strategies

" Use industry software to analyse client data and propose tailored financial solutions

" Communicate directly with clients when required, ensuring a professional and accurate service

" Ensure compliance with internal workflows and external regulations

" Support the continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and systems

" Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through structured CPD and training

" Meet agreed quality and performance targets (KPIs)

What We're Looking For

" Experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA or wealth management firm

" Strong knowledge of financial planning products (investments, pensions, protection, IHT, etc.)

" Proven ability to write suitability reports and conduct compliant research

" Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g. cash flow modelling, CRM systems)

" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

" A detail-oriented, methodical, and client-centric approach

" Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or close to completing)

" Passion for continuous learning and team contribution
