Paraplanner

Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a highly reputable firm that prides itself on offering a personal service to its clients?

We currently have such an opportunity for an experinced Paraplanner in the Harrogate area to join our clients, a Financial Services Company, who offer independent advice on pensions, investments, protection, tax and wealth management to their clients.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5.15 pm

The successful Paraplanner will be offered:

• £35,000- £45,000 salary (based on experience)
• 25 days holiday per annum plus statutory holidays

To be considered for the Paraplanner role, you must have:

• Previous experience in Pensions and Investments gained in a similar role, preferably with an IFA
• Diploma qualified (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential depending on experience
• Excellent communicator, both oral and written - strong telephone skills are a must
• Strong systems and technical abilities, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
• The ability to work on our own initiative and deal with enquiries in an efficient and organised manner
• Demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in some, if not all, research tools - pension: O&M, fund and portfolio: FE analytics, protection and annuity: Avelo Exchange, Iress Database System

As a Paraplanner, your role will involve:

• Providing technical, research and administrative support
• Production of compliant and detailed Suitability Reports
• Ensure all client records are fully compliant and up to date
• Annual client reviews
