We are looking for a Paraplanner who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys direct client interaction, and possesses a deep technical understanding of financial planning.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Participate in client meetings from Discovery to Plan Presentation, taking the lead on capturing and synthesising client context and technical details.
• Develop cashflow models that are both visually clean and psychologically compelling.
• Draft planning recommendations and collaborate on client-facing suitability reports.
• Work closely with advisers, admin, tax, and investments teams to drive planning cases forward.
• Conduct technical analysis and research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax wrappers.
• Maintain a clean audit trail, ensuring everything is documented and nothing is missed.
• Present recommendations clearly and confidently, sometimes directly to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Enjoy being client-facing and technically adept.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into plain English.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and capable of driving projects to completion.
• Sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working at a fast pace, with autonomy, and minimal bureaucracy.
• Level 4 qualification with aspirations towards Chartered/CFP status.
