Join XL, a small, friendly, and collaborative financial planning office in Ipswich. We are looking for a Paraplanner to work closely with our advisers and administrators, supporting both new business recommendations and ongoing client servicing. This role is integral to our client journey, from onboarding through to implementation, offering a supportive environment and opportunities for career growth.

• Collaborate with advisers to develop financial planning solutions.
• Prepare suitability reports using Genova.
• Conduct product and fund research using tools such as FE Analytics, O&M, and Dynamic Planner.
• Source supporting documentation and submit new business online via provider platforms (e.g., Aberdeen, Aviva Platform, Prudential).
• Produce annual review reports using Dynamic Planner and cash flow modelling.
• Liaise with advisers to understand client needs and implement agreed actions.
• Use Intelligent Office (IO) for task management and back-office processes.
• Coordinate with the administration team during client onboarding and business processing.

• Experience in a paraplanning role within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial planning products and platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools and back-office systems.
• A collaborative and flexible approach to working in a small team.
