Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE + Benefits

We are working with a highly regarded financial planning firm in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking business that puts clients and staff at the centre of everything they do.

As a Paraplanner, you’ll play a key role in supporting the advisers in delivering exceptional financial planning advice. You’ll be responsible for technical research, report writing, and ensuring recommendations are accurate, compliant, and client-focused.

• Prepare suitability reports and supporting documentation across pensions, investments, and protection.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial products and funds.
• Assist with cashflow modelling and financial planning tools.
• Ensure recommendations meet FCA requirements and internal compliance standards.
• Liaise with advisers, administrators, and providers to gather information and progress client cases.
• Maintain accurate records on back-office systems.
• Support advisers in client meetings where required.

• Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA/financial planning environment.
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent); progression towards Chartered status desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, and protection.
• Excellent report writing and research skills.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks.
