The Role
A newly available opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join the team on a hybrid basis, supporting two experienced Financial Advisers. This is a pivotal role within the business — you will sit at the heart of the advice process, working closely with advisers to translate complex client objectives into clear, well-researched, and compliant suitability reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality suitability reports and letters of recommendation across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning cases
Conduct detailed research and analysis to support adviser recommendations, including platform, fund, and product comparisons
Work closely with two Financial Advisers to manage case workflow and ensure timely delivery of client documentation
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, FCA regulations, and product developments
Liaise with providers, platforms, and back-office systems to obtain valuations, illustrations, and policy information
Assist with the preparation of client review documentation and meeting packs
Ensure all files and records meet internal compliance standards
Support advisers with ad hoc technical queries and research requests
About You
Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial services role — either fully qualified or working towards qualifications
Strong working knowledge of financial planning across retirement, investment, and protection disciplines
Experience preparing suitability reports and navigating the advice process end-to-end
Comfortable working with a variety of client profiles, including HNWIs and business owners
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage a varied caseload to meet deadlines
Strong written communication skills — clear, accurate, and client-appropriate
A proactive team player who is self-motivated and takes ownership of their work
CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it) is desirable — though candidates at varying stages of qualification will be considered
