About the role

As a Paraplanner / Technical Financial Planner, you will:

* Prepare high-quality suitability reports and compliant recommendation documentation

* Analyse complex financial information and translate it into clear, client-focused solutions

* Support advisers with technical research and financial planning strategies

* Develop integrated advice across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning

* Use financial planning and cashflow modelling tools to support client outcomes

* Maintain strong regulatory standards and ensure accuracy across all work

What we’re looking for

You will ideally have:

* Experience in a Paraplanning or technical financial planning role

* A Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards this)

* Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, investments, protection and tax planning

* Experience producing suitability reports and compliant advice documentation

* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information

* Experience with financial planning software and cashflow modelling tools

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to regulatory accuracy

* The ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team

* Excellent written communication skills
