Location: Harrogate, full time, Monday -Friday 9am -5pm, salary circa £28,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our clients small and friendly team. You will be working for an Independent Financial Advisers firm, located in the heart of Harrogate and will play an integral role in supporting the team and the clients.
Our client is a small, Independent Financial Advisers with an excellent reputation and the backing of a FTSE100 corporation. They provide Independent Financial Advice to clients across the North of England, in a holistic and conscientious manner. It is desirable that you are Level 4 Diploma Qualified in Regulated Financial Planning (or higher or close to being qualified) or have solid experience of working within the financial services industry.
Paraplanner responsibilities include:
Collating and processing financial information for new and existing clients.
Follow a regulated compliance process to facilitate new business.
Assess clients current financial arrangements and their current suitability against their needs and objectives.
Produce necessary reports to complete new business, including Suitability Reports and other technical documentation to support a regulated process.
Liaise with Product Providers and clients.
Undertake general administrative tasks.
Candidate requirements:
A positive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or close to being qualified).
Similar experience of working in a Financial Advisory office environment
Be flexible in responding to the needs of clients and the business.
