My client is a wealth planning practice based outside Guildford who have been operating for 30+ years. I have met the Directors and been to their offices and placed 7 staff into the business. They have an excellent reputation providing very solid financial advice to both private and corporate clients who lives in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. They have a large book of business who are City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners with a minimum of £500k to invest with their top customer holding £3m+ to invest.

The Managing Director is seeking to recruit a brand new Paraplanner who is ideally diploma qualified or very close to completion. Typical duties will include end to end report writing, technical research, aiding advisers in compiling advice, cashflow modelling, fact finds and all prep and follow up follow annual reviews and client meetings. A broad range of experience and knowledge across a variety of financial products will be crucial (Pensions, Investments, tax planning, Retirement Planning, Protections etc.) Knowledge of Intelligent Office would be highly advantageous. They use a variety of platforms including Elevate, Transact, Aberdeen, Quilter etc.

The role will be office based but they offer flexi hours. If you are sitting any exams then the Directors will support you with your studies. If you aspire to be an adviser then there is a route to this in the longer term. The MD is looking to offer £38k - £48k basic salary with an attractive benefits package including Death in service, Private Medical and Life Insurance.
