We’re hiring an experienced paraplanner to join our highly respected Chartered firm in Moulton Park, Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma-qualified professional to work closely with Directors and Advisers, gain technical exposure to high-net-worth clients, and develop long-term within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

As a paraplanner, your primary focus will be supporting the advisory team with complex financial planning needs. This includes:

• Creating tailored cash flow forecasts and income plans for retirement.

• Conducting detailed research and writing suitability reports across pensions, investments, and tax strategies.

• Managing technical templates, compliance documentation, and supporting internal training.

• Handling client technical queries and supporting adviser-led annual review meetings.

• Designing tools and spreadsheets to assist in investment analysis.

You’ll work closely with our advisers on some of the most technically interesting and rewarding cases in the business.

• Location: Moulton Park, Northampton

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

• Work Pattern: Office-based with potential flexibility

• Hours:

  • Mon-Thu: 9am-5pm

  • Fri: 9am-4pm

Some flexibility will be required to meet business needs.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a technical paraplanner role

• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and tax planning

• High attention to detail and excellent written communication skills

• Comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Desirable but not essential:

• Chartered status (or working toward it)

• AF1, AF7, AF8 qualifications

• Familiarity with SSASs, SIPPs, Drawdown, EIS/BPR, and Trusts
