Technical Paraplanner

• Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire
• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) plus discretionary quarterly bonuses
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) or Part-time. Hybrid working model (part office, part home-based)

My Client are a personalised Wealth Management company who specialise in giving expert financial planning advice to Dentists, Business Owners and Private Clients. They seek a dedicated, full time Technical Paraplanner to join their friendly, busy and vibrant team based in Wiltshire, with 50% office based and the rest home working

Day-to-Day Duties

• Support consultants ahead of client meetings by preparing compliant, technical suitability reports and ‘Financial Life Plan’ reports.
• Conduct client annual reviews and carry out technical research and data analysis on behalf of clients.
• Accurately invest client money as per consultants’ recommendations post-meetings.
• Liaise with clients post-meetings to answer technical queries and proactively identify investment/tax saving opportunities.
• Manage and prioritise workload, evaluate investment portfolios with consultants, and work closely with the Service Team.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Technical Paraplanner role.
• Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Word & Excel, and experience with back-office systems (experience with Prestwood Truth is advantageous).
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
• High interpersonal and organisational skills, ready to support the rapid growth of our dynamic practice.
