Paraplanning Manager Department: Paraplanning Employment Type: Full-Time Location: UK-wide (Hybrid with occasional travel) Salary: Band D
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Paraplanning Manager to lead, mentor, and empower a national team of paraplanners. In this key operational role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels, supporting training and development, and driving continuous process improvement.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in enhancing team performance, delivering internal project work, and identifying ways to improve efficiency — all while upholding a high standard of client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews
Allocate workloads and oversee team resource planning
Lead team meetings, sharing key updates and aligning team goals
Resolve quality assurance issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Identify trends, troubleshoot process blockers, and drive continuous improvement
Training & Onboarding
Play a lead role in recruiting and onboarding new paraplanners
Develop training plans and maintain development records
Deliver structured training across Radiant offices as required
Monitor performance of new starters and support their transition to full sign-off
Projects & Process Development
Support the Head of Paraplanning with business-critical projects
Maintain and update suitability report templates using document design software (training provided)
Proactively assess team operations and implement process efficiency improvements
Data & Reporting
Produce MI from Intelligent Office and Excel to track productivity and KPIs
Run and interpret monthly performance reports
Present actionable insights to leadership and participate in board-level reporting discussions

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience managing teams within financial planning or paraplanning
Sound technical knowledge of report writing, advice processes, and compliance standards
Strong working knowledge of Intelligent Office and Excel, or a willingness to develop quickly
Skills & Attributes
Natural team leader with strong coaching and communication skills
Proactive problem solver and confident project contributor
Excellent organisational abilities and a keen eye for process efficiency
Comfortable working independently and across multidisciplinary teams
Flexible to travel across Radiant offices as needed
