An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well-established, design-focused architectural practice based in Oxford.
The practice is known for delivering exceptional projects across the region, with a strong portfolio ranging from high end residential homes and bespoke housing developments to contemporary commercial spaces.
This role offers a clear pathway for progression, with full support to achieve your Part 3 qualification. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced Architects who are committed to mentoring and developing emerging talent. Role and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design process, from concept through to technical delivery.
Produce detailed drawings, presentation boards, and 3D visuals to support design proposals.
Assist with preparing planning applications and construction information.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Attend site visits, providing support with inspections and progress reporting.
Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards.
Work effectively to meet project budgets, deadlines, and client expectations.
Skills and Requirements:
RIBA Part 1 & 2 qualified with a strong academic background.
Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.
A creative portfolio demonstrating both design flair and technical understanding.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine ambition to develop professionally.
