£32,000 to £35,000 Basic Salary + Christmas Bonus

The Company recruiting for the Part Qual Accountant:
This well-respected local accountancy practice with a wide variety of clients are looking for a Junior accountant in practice. Their high levels of service has earnt them a loyal customer base and are now in a position of growth and looking for their next hire to strengthen their team further.

The Role of the Part Qual Accountant:
As a Junior Accountant in practice, you will have the chance to participate in various tasks such as preparing monthly accounts for a diverse range of clients such as sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies. You will also be responsible for preparing personal and corporate tax returns, and statutory accounts following UK Regulations, reviewing VAT returns and submissions, liaising with clients to ensure smooth submission of their accounts, dealing promptly with any queries, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, completing any companies house administration, dealing with compliance matters, and supporting the business owner in the ongoing development of the client portfolio.

The Candidate for the Part Qual Accountant:
To be considered for this role, you must have previous/current experience working in a commercial finance team or accountancy firm. Your knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and Corporation/Personal Tax returns will be highly valuable. You may be a part qualified Accountant or someone working towards or wanting to start working towards a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA.

The Package for the Part Qual Accountant:

• £32,000 to £35,000 basic salary
