Your new company
PQ Accountant role with one of the leading independent suppliers to the construction industry in the UK & Ireland. Permanent role based in Co. Down. Our client is in an exciting period of growth and this role will play a significant part in the future of the business.

Your new role

• Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts and related reports
• Administration of general ledger including reconciliation of ledger accounts
• Administration and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Administration and reconciliation of supplier and customer rebates
• Assistance with maintenance of fixed asset register
• Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and related reporting
• Support the Company's annual financial budget process
• The reconciliation and analysis of other major balance sheet accounts
• Assistance with other financial duties as required

What you'll need to succeed
This would ideally suit a part Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a similar post. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels and a proven record of ability to work to tight deadlines in a team-based environment.
