£50,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home)

About Our Client:

A dynamic renewable heating services organisation seeking a motivated and hands-on Accountant to join their current finance team of five. The ideal candidate will have the drive and determination to clean up and maintain their accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations.

• Prepare and maintain management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Managing project-based accounts

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Utilize Xero for accounting tasks (experience with Xero is ideal but not essential).

• Support the Financial Controller and Finance Director

Qualifications and Experience:

• Heavily QBE or Highly Skilled Part Qualified Accountant.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within project-based accounting.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Excel accounting software (Xero experience is a plus).
