Part Time Accounting

Fancy stepping away from the traditional accounts routine?

This could be a great opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working with people, solving problems and having ownership of their work.

You will be working with a varied client base, getting involved in everything from accounts and management accounts through to VAT, CIS and accounting software support. It is a role where you can actually get to know your clients and understand what makes their businesses tick, rather than simply processing numbers and moving on to the next job.

There is also a real opportunity to become a key member of the team. You will be trusted to manage your own workload, handle client queries, review work and support more junior members of the team.

The ideal person will have:

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong accounts experience
• Good knowledge of VAT and CIS
• Confidence dealing directly with clients
• AAT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent experience
• The ability to work independently and take ownership
