Location: Shrewsbury
Hours: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 9.30am–2.30pm
Salary: £14.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Temporary initially, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

TARA Professional Recruitment is looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Compliance Administrator to join our friendly team at our head office in Shrewsbury.

Working alongside our Compliance Officer, you will help ensure our candidates are fully compliant and ready to work in schools and . This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and making sure everything is completed accurately.

The role is initially temporary, but there is the potential for it to become a permanent position for the right person.

Compliance Administrator role includes:

* Liaising with candidates to ensure they provide the correct documentation for clearance;

* Checking cloud-based candidate files and ensuring all relevant compliance checks are completed;

* Working closely with the Compliance Officer and recruitment consultants to ensure candidates are cleared as quickly as possible;

* Communicating with candidates regarding outstanding documents and compliance requirements;

* Sending and chasing candidate weekly online timesheets;

* Providing telephone support to candidates and schools in a professional and friendly manner;

* Passing on messages and assisting with supply bookings when required;

* Updating candidate records and maintaining accurate information across our systems;

* Supporting the wider recruitment team with general administration.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A friendly, approachable and personable attitude;

* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills;

* Good verbal and written communication skills;

* The ability to work accurately and efficiently, even when managing several tasks at once;

* Confidence using Microsoft Office and compliance systems (full training will be provided);

* Previous administration experience is desirable;

* Experience within recruitment, education, compliance or process driven role would be advantageous but is not essential;

* A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
