Location: Wigston
Salary: £28,000 FTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 12:30 or 09:00 – 13:00

SF Recruitment is working with a growing business in Wigston who are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.

This is a hands-on customer service and administration role, dealing with customers, processing orders and working closely with the manufacturing and despatch teams.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

Handling incoming customer calls and enquiries
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Checking orders before sending them to the manufacturing team
Contacting customers to confirm order details where needed
Managing and processing standing orders
Setting up new customer accounts and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly
Dealing with customer queries and resolving any issues
Identifying potential sales opportunities and arranging sales visits where appropriate
Keeping the daily diary up to date and preparing KPI reports
Checking orders against the original customer request
Working with the despatch team to make sure paperwork is returned promptly
Following company procedures and maintaining accurate records

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

Previous experience in a customer service or office-based role
Good communication skills and a confident telephone manner
Strong attention to detail
Good IT and administration skills
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload
A practical and proactive approach to resolving problems
