Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

The school has a dedicated Learning Resource Base (LRB) where pupils receive tailored support to help them develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to appoint a Part Time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Part Time Teaching Assistant will work within the Learning Resource Base (LRB), supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), encouraging engagement in learning and helping children achieve their individual targets through patient, consistent and nurturing support.

The successful Part Time Teaching Assistant will have:

Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Experience working within a Learning Resource Base (LRB) or similar specialist setting
A good understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A caring, patient and adaptable approach
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
