Your new role

We are looking for a teacher who can bring music to life for learners who thrive with creative, multisensory approaches. You will:

Teach Music across a range of year groups, including planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons tailored to students with Dyslexia and SpLDs.
Create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment where all students feel confident to participate and express themselves.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and support students' literacy, memory, and processing skills through music.
Contribute to the wider creative life of the school, including concerts, performances, and enrichment activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole‑school aims and ensure continuity of learning.
Maintain high professional standards in planning, assessment, classroom management, and safeguarding.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for someone who:

Is a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Music.
Has a passion for working with students with Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties.
Can deliver creative, differentiated lessons that build confidence and engagement.
Has strong communication skills and a warm, encouraging teaching style.
Is organised, reflective, and committed to high expectations for all learners.
Brings energy, positivity, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.Experience in a SEND setting is desirable but not essential - training and support will be provided.
