Part Time Early Years Nanny Required in Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire

Happy Nest are seeking a kind, caring, and nurturing nanny to join this loving family with one little boy due March 2025 in Kirkham, Lancashire This is a part time position, working three to four days a week with some occasional overnights. Due to the nature of mums job you will be given a rota with the hours four months in advance.

Now if you're experienced in the art of caring for babies, you'll know there's not much time to sit around! He will soon be fully on the move and is excited to explore his surroundings.

Hours:

· Part-time role, working 3 to 4 days per week.

-35 hours per week guaranteed rota given in advance.

· Additional overnights occasionally

Nanny Duties:

On a day-to-day basis, this nanny role will encompass the things youre well experienced in, and a dab hand at. Youll be familiar with preparing healthy meals for baby and enjoy researching new tastes for him to experiment as he starts his weaning journey.

And given your love for the early years, and for supporting baby with all his needs as he grows and develops, you'll love the opportunity to take him to regular classes and activities finding new adventures for him to enjoy and explore. We all adore a good sing song so think Moo Music and nursery rhyme time.

Mum and Dad really want this to be a nanny and family partnership, they are keen for their little one to see and explore the wonder of everything around him. Planning everything to engage and stimulate him and learn with his surroundings. He will enjoy physical activities too as time goes by so during his nap it would be good to plan some trips to the park or a garden picnic or two or batch cook some tasty lunches and take care of all nursery related duties including babies laundry.

This role does sound like an absolute dream, and we would like to find a nanny that will continue with his established routine once their maternity nurse has left but also offer new ideas to these lovely first-time parents. Its a happy easy-going household with lots of fun and laughter they will welcome a new nanny to support them.

Essential requirements

· Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check on the update service.

· Full 12 hour Paediatric first aid dated within the last 3 years

· Excellent Checkable references

· Previous experience working newborns in a nanny/ maternity nurse role or long term childcare role with newborn care.
