Job Description:

We are looking for a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll process for our workforce of 120 employees on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and best practices. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing excellent service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for 120 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collect, review, and verify timesheets and attendance records.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions accurately.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other withholdings.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare necessary reports.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll and HR processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (SAGE)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles is a plus.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position, specific working hours can be discussed and are flexible to accommodate your schedule.
