It’s an exciting time to be joining Brent’s Adult Social Care service as we implement an ambitious transformation programme.
This programme has created some fantastic new opportunities for passionate Social Workers to join our teams across Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Hospital Discharge.
We are dedicated to developing the careers of our Social Workers and are committed to enhancing your Continued Professional Development through our innovative Skills Academy. 
As a Social Worker in Adult Social Care, you’ll respond to individuals in our community to provide social care support and utilise appropriate interventions. Across our Adult Social Care service, we strive to deliver a culture of working together, positive risk-taking, and accountability. Our core aim is to support our residents to be influential, active members of our community.
As part of your Continued Professional Development you can choose a pathway to support your career interests and ambitions. You will be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England. You will also have experience of working within social care or a community-focused multi-disciplinary setting.
A good understanding of relevant Adult Social Care legislation is essential for success in these roles. You will have the opportunity to put this legislation into action, further enhancing your skills to support and empower our service users to live meaningful lives within the community.
We will provide training for an exceptional candidate who cannot demonstrate all of the above criteria.
Adult Social Care is part of the Care Health and Wellbeing department, and together we have a clear focus on working together to support residents, families, and communities. 
The department brings together a range of services and support. This enables us to have a clear focus on accommodation as a building block for long-term wellbeing and independence, as well as deliver genuinely multi-disciplinary working for people of any age with more complex needs.
We have strong partnerships with health organisations and work closely on a range of practical and impactful projects.
