Temporary Receptionist (afternoon cover)
Location: Just outside Edinburgh City Centre
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4.30pm - 8pm
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
Start date: Week commencing 24th August

Our client, a well-established organisation based just outside Edinburgh city centre, is seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to provide morning reception cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time morning hours and who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the reception desk and front-of-house area
Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answering and directing inbound telephone calls
Handling visitor enquiries and sign-ins
Providing general administrative support
Assisting with ad hoc office duties as required
Ensuring reception areas remain tidy and presentableCandidate Requirements

Previous reception, front-of-house or administration experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional and welcoming approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and use initiative
