Year 2 Teacher Part-time Job share 3 days per week (flexible) Start: September 2026 Long-term contract Infant School DulwichA lovely infant school in Dulwich are looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher to join their school in September 2026 on a part-time basis to job share with the existing teacher.
The Role
In this role you will be teaching a Year 2 class of 30 pupils, 3 days a week as part of a job share, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support them in reaching their full potential. Pupils demonstrate excellent behaviour and a genuine enthusiasm for learning, creating a positive and inspiring classroom environment, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners Creating a stimulating, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs Working collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 1 to share ideas and best practice Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events, trips and enrichment activitiesAs a three-form-entry school, you will work closely with the other Year 2 team in planning, assessments and enrichment activities. You will have regular contact with parents and should have excellent communication skills, a committed and professional approach to teaching with a creative and inspiring approach.
This role is offered on a part-time basis from September 2026 to July 2027 initially. The school are looking for a qualified teacher with prior teaching experience in KS1.

This creative and high performing 3-form-entry infant school is based in Dulwich in a supportive and diverse community. Pupils at the school are eager to learn and their behaviour is excellent. The school has an established senior leadership team in place and creates an environment where staff feel valued and supported. With good transport links and based in a quiet residential area the school the school offers a lovely calm environment to teach in.
