Partner Finance Accountant

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Partner Finance Accountant to join its London office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a global partnership.

Responsibilities of the Partner Finance Accountant:

As a Partner Finance Accountant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of partner finance within this global law firm. You'll collaborate with colleagues across business finance teams and provide accurate remuneration calculations for partners worldwide. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing partner remuneration processes, including monthly drawings, quarterly distributions, and lock-up incentive schemes.

• Administering partner capital tasks such as annual capital calls, interest reconciliations, and on-boarding new partners.

• Preparing cash flow forecasts and individual statements to support strategic decision-making.

• Handling complex reconciliations (e.g., member drawings, benefits allowances) and processing partner-related recharges (insurance policies, wellness benefits).

• Supervising Tax & Partner Finance Assistants and supporting their professional development.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhancing systems for greater efficiency.

Requirements ofthe Partner Finance Accountant:

• Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified accountant or tax adviser with full accreditation.

• Experience: At least five years' experience in partnership finance within the legal sector or a large corporate organisation.

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Mindset: A proactive team player with commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Familiarity with financial systems like Workday is advantageous but not essential.
