Overview:

An international law firm is seeking an Partnership Tax Assistant Manager to join its London-based in-house tax team of 7. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to the firm's global tax strategy. The role offers exposure to both UK and international tax matters, with a strong focus on partnership taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and submission of UK and international tax filings.
• Help manage tax payments and forecasting for the firm and its partners.
• Provide financial planning support to partners, including pensions and personal tax matters.
• Act as a point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors.
• Oversee junior team members and collaborate with global finance teams.
• Stay informed on tax legislation and contribute to internal tax policy discussions.

Experience and skills:

• Solid experience in partnership or personal tax, ideally within a professional or financial services setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
• A detail-focused and proactive approach to managing complex tax matters.
• Some experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues is a plus.
• Good working knowledge of UK tax rules, with awareness of international considerations.
