Job Description - Partnerships & Alliances GTM Lead

The PA GTM Lead champions and manages VMG’s strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) transformation agenda, working in close collaboration the PA Strategy Lead. This role drives all major internal assessments and oversees external competitive bidding processes to accelerate GTM change, enable efficiencies, and unlock growth—while upholding the highest compliance standards. The position reports to the VMG Partnership & Alliance Lead. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for VMG’s GTM transformation agenda, co-leading key initiatives alongside the PA Strategy Lead to accelerate structural and operational change.leading key initiatives alongside the PA Strategy  
  • Lead and oversee all internal Go-To-Market assessments, ensuring robust diagnostic quality, cross functional alignment, and clear prioritisation of transformation opportunities.functional alignment, and clear prioritisation of transformation opportunities. 
  • Direct and govern external competitive bidding processes, ensuring timelines are met, methodological rigour, transparency, and adherence to all compliance requirements. 
  • Drive end-to-end GTM efficiency initiatives, leveraging channel insights, partnership models, and commercial analytics to unlock growth and improve operating performance.toend GTM efficiency initiatives 
  • Accelerate GTM Transformation, ensuring rapid execution, risk mitigation, and effective integration across commercial, finance, GSC, access, marketing, BAI, legal, tax, and compliance teams. 
  • Assess and develop G2N optimisation opportunities, including fullmarket evaluations where required to identify value capture and cost efficiencies. 
  • Develop and refine frameworks for partnership and channel optimisation, ensuring VMG fully leverages external and internal partnership models for competitive advantage. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong proven experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.  
  • Deep knowledge & experience of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare environment and market channels. 
  • Strategic commercial and analytical thinking skills, backed with business acumen. 
  • Leading without authority, ability to collaborate and strategize with senior stakeholders, shaping decisions, aligning perspectives, and creating crossfunctional momentum. 
  • Sophisticated project management skills to ensure disciplined execution, timely delivery, and strong stakeholder accountability. 
  • Comfortable with time pressure, multi-tasking and navigating through ambiguity. 
  • Absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
