Part-Qualified Accountant

Overview

Our client, a locally renowned distribution firm with years of history, is currently looking for a motivated and studying Part Qualified Accountant to join their small but mighty Accounts function, based in the industrial heart of the Black Country. This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with month end management accounts exposure to get in front of non financial stakeholders and act as the bridge between finance and operations.

Day to day in the role, you will hold multiple responsibilities allowing you clear visibility of how the business operates, so you can analyse processes and suggest efficiency improvements. You will be assisting with the production of the MI pack and reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to operational leaders within the business. Due to the nature of the sector, you will be gaining highly sought after experience in stock accounting also.

Skills Needed

• Experience within the distribution industry would be beneficial, however is not a requirement for this role.
• You will be actively studying for your ACCA/CIMA qualification, ideally part qualified.
• Be confident in your ability on Excel and shown you can pick up new systems easily.
• Be a collaborative team player, capable of getting involved around the business and engaging with all of the people.
