This role is for a Part-Qualified Group Accountant, based in Castleford. You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the company's financial operations during a 3-6 month fixed-term contract.

Description

Assist in the preparation of group financial statements and management accounts.
Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial data is maintained.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
Help maintain the integrity of financial systems and processes.Profile

A successful Part-Qualified Group Accountant should have:

Part-qualification in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.Job Offer

Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on the level of experience.
