Reed is recruiting on behalf of a leading company based in Bradford, our client is looking for a Parts Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deal with internal and external customer requirements efficiently.
  • Maintain sufficient stocking levels of parts and place orders with suppliers as needed.
  • Provide estimates, invoices, and process credits when applicable.
  • Handle payment transactions and assist in stock checks.
  • Utilise SAP stock control systems or similar to manage inventory effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP stock control systems or similar is advantageous.
  • A thorough understanding of inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to urgent requirements.
  • Ideally, a mechanical background with strong problem-solving skills, often "thinking out of the box."
