We are seeking a dedicated vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Newport. The vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver role offers a dynamic balance between parts sales and delivery responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking career progression within the automotive industry. The successful vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver will become part of a busy Parts Department, reporting to the Parts Manager, and working alongside three colleagues.
This vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver position delivers a starting salary of £26,500 per annum, with an uncapped bonus scheme designed to achieve annual earnings of £29,000 to £30,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch, and no weekend work is required. Accurately identifying and selecting vehicle parts for customer orders Promptly picking and supplying parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs Conducting parts stock control and stock audits Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts inquiries Managing daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries Assisting with parts sales and providing support in the workshopRequirements:
Recent or current experience within the automotive industry Familiarity with vehicle systems and parts operations preferred IT literacy, specifically with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Pinnacle) Valid UK driving licence with minimal points Strong customer service and sales skills Friendly, professional, and charismatic manner Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Motivation to develop within the automotive aftersales sectorThis vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver role is ideal for individuals looking to utilise their automotive knowledge in a varied role that combines customer service, parts management, and delivery logistics.
