Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, are actively recruiting for a multi-disciplined role as a Parts & eCommerce Assistant, a position that will see you involved in supporting parts operations, customer service, stores maintenance and more wholly eCommerce support, on initially a 12-month to ongoing contract basis. On offer to the successful candidate is a competitive, albeit negotiable hourly rate, based on relevant experience, together with full in-house training given.
The Parts Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless aftersales service and customer satisfaction at this prestigious Dealership. It acts as the backbone of the Dealership’s operations, supporting the Service Department, Retail Sales, and Customer Care teams with high-quality, genuine vehicle parts and accessories. You will work as part of a small, dynamic, and fast?paced team comprising three Parts Advisors, and three Parts Coordinators.
Your duties and responsibilities will be: Parts Operations: Picking, packing and despatching parts for retail, trade and workshop customers. Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders. Booking goods into stock management systems accurately and promptly.Customer Service Supporting Parts Advisors with customer enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face. Assisting in the identification and sourcing of parts using electronic catalogues. Providing updates on order status, lead times and deliveries. Supporting trade, retail and workshop customers with parts collection and dispatch requirements.Stores & Logistics: Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment. Ensuring stock is stored correctly to prevent damage or loss. Preparing courier and shipping documentation. Arranging collections and deliveries with approved carriers.E-Commerce Support: Assisting with photographing parts for online sales platforms. Preparing product descriptions and listing information for eBay and online shop platforms. Supporting the management of online inventory availability and well as picking and dispatching e-commerce orders to agreed service levels. Growth in online sales revenue. Listing quality and accuracy as well as reducing aged stock through online channels. Monitoring customer satisfaction levels and contributing to departmental KPI targets.You will have the following qualifications & experience: Should ideally be educated to a minimum GCSE level, better still have a Vehicle Apprenticeship background or equivalent qualification, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered. This role of Parts & eCommerce Assistant could provide an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse or Stores Operative who is looking to develop a career in the Parts sector, as well as experienced Parts Advisors interested in gaining exposure to e-commerce activities. This role is more focused on finding someone with the right attitude and potential rather than specific qualifications or extensive experience as in-house training will be given to support your career development.It would be great if you also have the following; Interest in prestigious cars, knowledge of the industry and eCommerce/Internet savvy.This position is available with immediate effect.
