Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

We're recruiting for a Garage Parts Assistant to join a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance operation in Spalding.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to develop their knowledge of vehicle parts, stock management and commercial vehicle maintenance.

The Role
As a Garage Parts Assistant, you will support the workshop and customers by ensuring the correct parts are available when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Communicating with customers both by phone and in person
·Managing and maintaining an organised parts inventory
·Locating and issuing parts from stock
·Creating invoices for parts
·Responding to customer queries and resolving issues
·Working closely with technicians to ensure they have the parts required to complete their work
·Supporting the smooth running of the parts and workshop operation

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
·Organised and able to manage stock accurately
·Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
·Reliable and punctual
·Comfortable working as part of a team
·Keen to learn about commercial vehicle parts and maintenance
·Interested in developing a long-term career within the automotive industry

Previous parts or automotive experience would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are equally important.
