Parts / Service Receptionist
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Location: Stetchford Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Join Our Family-Run Independent Workshop We are a well-established, family-run independent automotive workshop with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Parts / Service Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with automotive parts knowledge who enjoys dealing with customers and being at the heart of a busy workshop environment.
The Role As our Parts / Service Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop.
Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting customers and handling enquiries professionally
Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and MOTs
Preparing estimates and keeping customers updated on work progress
Sourcing and ordering automotive parts from suppliers
Managing parts stock and ensuring efficient parts availability
Raising job cards, invoices and workshop paperwork
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with technicians, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth workflow
Delivering exceptional customer service at all timesWhat We're Looking For Essential as a Parts / Service Receptionist

Previous experience within the automotive industry
Good automotive parts knowledge and experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
Confident using computer systems and workshop management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable as a Parts / Service Receptionist

Previous Service Advisor or Service Reception experience
Experience within an independent garage or workshop environment
Knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT processesWhat We Offer as a Parts / Service Receptionist
