Parts Stock Assistant
Salary: £30,707.88 per annum
Location : Marden, Kent
Initial three-month temporary contract | ASAP start
39 hours per week | 08:30–17:00 Monday to Thursday and 09:00–16:30 Friday
Join a busy parts team in Marden and help get the right parts to customers on time. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you’ll prepare orders for dispatch, receive and store incoming parts, and help keep stock records accurate.
What you’ll do
* Identify, pick and pack parts accurately, checking that packaging is undamaged and suitable for delivery.
* Follow delivery instructions from the parts sales office, choose an efficient dispatch method and complete paperwork on time.
* Receive incoming parts, follow stock control procedures and store goods safely in the right locations.
* Report stock discrepancies, product queries and process issues to the Parts Manager.
* Help with stock replenishment, routine stock checks and the annual stocktake.
* Move goods safely using a forklift where trained and follow site health and safety procedures.
What you’ll need
* Good knowledge of parts and a forklift truck licence.
* Strong attention to detail and good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Good organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise several tasks and meet dispatch deadlines.
