Job Description - Passenger Service Agent

As a Passenger Service Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Passenger Check-In: Assisting passengers with check-in processes, including handling special requirements and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Travel Document Verification: Reviewing travel documentation to ensure compliance with all security and airline regulations.
  • Excess Baggage Processing: Managing excess baggage, including processing payments efficiently and courteously.
  • Passenger Assistance: Meeting inbound flights and providing assistance to arriving passengers as required.
  • Flight Boarding Coordination: Overseeing boarding procedures, making announcements, and ensuring smooth and timely departures.
We are seeking dedicated, service-oriented individuals who are enthusiastic about working in a customer-facing role. While prior experience in customer service is preferred, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and accommodate operational needs.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling passenger details, documentation, and operational tasks.

  • Resilience Under Pressure: Ability to perform calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.

Shift Pattern

This role involves shift work, including weekends and Bank Holidays. The current shift pattern is:
  • 6 days on, 3 days off (3 early shifts, 3 late shifts, followed by 3 days off).

Requirements

To meet regulatory and operational standards, all applicants must:
  • Provide 5 years of checkable references to ensure background verification.
  • Submit a clear criminal record check.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
