Passionate Mathematics Teacher Inspiring School in Tamworth

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving school community in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematics, a drive for excellence in teaching, and a genuine desire to help students achieve their potential at KS3, KS4, and KS5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and engaging mathematics lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels, promoting problem-solving and critical thinking skills.


• Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages mathematical understanding and application in real-world contexts.


• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to foster growth.


• Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to excel and take ownership of their learning.


• Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department to share resources, teaching methods, and support student achievement.


• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and school activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.


• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).


• Experience teaching mathematics at KS3, KS4, and KS5 level.


• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to teach a wide range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, and statistics.
