Key Areas of Responsibility:

• 
  Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging and differentiated music lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.


• 
  Assessment and Feedback: Utilizing a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous development.


• 
  Performance and Enrichment: Organizing and leading musical ensembles, performances, and extracurricular activities that foster a sense of community and celebrate musical achievement.


• 
  Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Music Department and across the school to enhance the overall quality of music education.


• 
  Professional Development: Staying current with developments in music pedagogy and curriculum design, actively seeking opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) in Music or a related field.


• Experience teaching music at the secondary level is preferred, but we also welcome applications from outstanding newly qualified teachers (NQTs).


• Strong musicianship skills and proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
