Pastoral Support Worker - Across Cornwall
Location: Various school settings across Cornwall
Start date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with multiple schools across Cornwall to recruit compassionate, resilient and dedicated Pastoral Support Workers to start in September.

These roles are ideal for individuals with experience in education, youth work, social care, or mental health support. You'll be supporting pupils who face emotional, behavioural or social challenges that impact their ability to engage with learning. Responsibilities may include 1:1 mentoring, small group support, liaising with external agencies, and working alongside safeguarding and attendance teams.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with young people in a support or pastoral capacity

• Are confident managing behaviour and supporting students with a wide range of needs

• Can remain calm under pressure and build trusting relationships with pupils

• Have strong communication skills and a good understanding of safeguarding practices
