Pastoral Teaching Assistant

This is a part time, term time only role working 22 hours per week across three fixed days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the contract running until 31 March 2026 in the first instance, but this may go on to be temp to perm. 

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in group and one to one settings
  

• Confidence delivering engaging tutorials on safeguarding, wellbeing, careers, and personal development
  

• Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and external agencies
  

• Experience supporting attendance, behaviour, and student engagement
  

• Understanding of safeguarding and multi agency working
  

• Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualification
  

• Relevant degree such as youth work desirable
  

• Flexible, professional, and student focused approach
  

• Must hold a current Enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years and relevant overseas police checks if applicable
