RHS Garden Bridgewater, Worsley are now looking to expand the team. Reporting to Head Chef you will join an established team as an experienced pastry chef.
Responsibilities
We make all our extensive seasonal range in our main kitchen, which supplies all 5 outlets on site.
The hours of work generally range from 7.30am to 3.30pm. Occasional evening work during busier periods, however - flexibility around this.

Work with the kitchen management to ensure that all food is produced and presented to agreed standard.
Assist the Kitchen Team in ensuring that profitability is always maintained through adherence to recipes and minimising food wastage.
To control stock levels through understanding of produce, portion sizes and stock rotation.
Understanding of working on pastry section and able to run the section. A good Knowledge on Seasonality and fresh produce.
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy to always agreed standards.
Responsible for the recording of all relevant information required by law to ensure that we are due diligent to our customers.
Adhere to current Health and Safety legislation and best practice in accordance with the Societys Health and Safety Policy Statement.
Develop chef skills in the kitchen, develop and embrace new ideas and knowledge of the more senior roles.
Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in the post.
