Junior Chef de Partie

for our Pastry section. The

Junior Chef de Partie will assist to direct, train and supervise their colleagues on section, and ensures that the agreed standards of food service and preparation are being met.

This position will help bring to life our restaurant concept where provenance is a produce driven modern British restaurant where seasonality is celebrated in comfort and style. Cooking is heartfelt, wholesome and we treat our beautiful ingredients with the respect and care that they deserve! From farm to fork!

The

JuniorChef De Partie's

key responsibilities:
Assist to Supervises the section to ensure that it runs smoothly at all times.
Confirms with the Sous Chef and CDP any day to day special requirements or up-coming events.
Carries out any reasonable checks to ensure all duties have been fulfilled during the day.
Checks storage areas to ensure that proper storage and rotation of food takes place.
Supervises and maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned areas, and follow up all cleaning programmes.
Ensures that the service is properly set up and on time for each service period.
Ensures that all food is prepared to recipes designated by the Chef.
Fills out production charts for each shift and ensure that all mis en place is completed before service.
Checks charts daily for completion.
Carries out regular checks on food to ensure proper rotation and storage (all items to be covered with cling film, dated and labelled).
