Patent Administrator

Our client, a prominent entity in the FMCG industry, is currently seeking a Contract Patent Operations Coordinator to join their team in Westminster, London. This position is central to ensuring the smooth operation and management of patent-related processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating and overseeing patent operations and related administrative tasks
Utilising SQL to manage and maintain patent databases and ensure data integrity
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate patent processes
Providing support in the drafting and submission of patent applications
Tracking patent status and managing timelines to ensure compliance with deadlines
Preparing reports and documentation for patent portfolios
Assisting with patent-related inquiries and providing necessary information
Supporting the Line Manager in various operational tasks and projects

Job Requirements:

Experience in coordinating patent operations or related administrative roles
Proficiency in SQL for database management and reporting
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in task execution
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Understanding of patent processes and relevant legal requirements
Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in patent coordination or a related field
