Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.
The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Single Corporate Services – Patient Outcomes team as a Patient Outcomes Officer.
This role sits within a collaborative service working across Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Isle of Wight NHS Trust, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes across both organisations. As part of this shared corporate service, occasional travel between sites may be required in line with service needs and the staff mobility agreement.
Reporting to the Head of Patient Outcomes and accountable to the Associate Director of Quality Governance, you will play a key role in ensuring both Trusts meet their legal and regulatory requirements relating to patient outcomes.
Working closely with clinical, operational and corporate teams at all levels, you will support the delivery of a wide portfolio of patient outcomes projects. This includes contributing to organisational assurance, performance monitoring and continuous improvement through the effective monitoring, triangulation and reporting of patient outcomes data to inform decision-making.
